In this painting I wanted to try and give the feeling of sunlight streaming through the trees. I hope I’ve achieved that by leaving plenty of white in the centre of the picture. I’ve purposely used complementary colours of yellow and purple in this piece. In doing this they create the strongest contrast and are pleasing to the eye. Watercolour and ink
