I love trees! Trees are so lovely to paint. This tree creates a nice backdrop to the foreground flowers and undergrowth. I washed off the flowers a few times and repainted. I don’t worry about doing this now. Watercolour is more forgiving than people think. I’ve used lots of special techniques to create the flowers and I like to use granulation fluid dribbled through acrylic ink in places. Watercolour, pastel and ink
