purple haze

I had no idea what I was going to paint when I started this piece. It organically grew. I chose my colour scheme and using a wet in wet technique, flooded colour onto the paper and allowed it to flow and mix with neighbouring colours without much manipulation by myself. As it began to dry, shapes and patterns appeared which then dictated what I did next. I used a straw to blow branches and twig like shapes across the image at the end. Watercolour and ink
